Australian government Twitter accounts

This is a list of Twitter accounts maintained by Australian councils and government agencies.

The list is actively maintained on a regular basis, however may from time to time be inaccurate - either missing new government accounts or including shutdown accounts. Please flag any changes in the comments.

Note that while I cannot guarantee that all of these accounts are official government and council accounts, the vast majority have been confirmed as official.

If you are aware of any additional government twitter accounts, or that any on the current list that are not official, please provide feedback via this page.
